1. The purchase price for one (1) raffle ticket is $25 or $100 for five (5) raffle tickets or $200 for twelve (12) raffle tickets.  A "purchase" shall not occur and will not be binding on The Bridge until cash is actually received by The Bridge, or funds from checks have cleared the bank  in the account held by The Bridge. Checks or money orders must be made payable to "The Bridge Youth & Family Services Raffle." Payments are not tax deductible. Payments may be mailed or made in person, with a registration form, at:  The Bridge, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine, Illinois 60067.

2. All monies received for tickets shall be considered “requests” until recorded by The Bridge as a “purchase.” All sales and purchases of raffle tickets shall be deemed made and effective only upon acceptance at the offices of The Bridge, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine, IL.

3. Requests for purchase must be completed, and in the possession of The Bridge (721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine, IL 60067) by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010, unless otherwise personally delivered to an authorized representative of The Bridge at Are You All In? Gala by the time of the drawing which occurs on Saturday, April 10, 2010, in order to be eligible for The Bridge Grand Raffle.

4. If an entrant's check or credit card charge is dishonored prior to the drawing, the entry ticket will be declared invalid, losing its place in line as a request pursuant to Rule 2. All check or credit card charges found dishonored after the drawing must be paid by the drawer of the check, in cash, or the request for purchase shall be deemed denied. The drawer will pay an additional $20.00 fee for non-sufficient funds or stop payment checks. There shall be no refunds for any reason.

5. Purchasers of raffle tickets must be 18 years of age or older on or before Saturday, April 10, 2010.

6. In addition to publication of the winner at the drawing ceremony, the winner will be notified in writing, and the name of the winner will be posted at The Bridge offices and will be posted on The Bridge website (www.bridgeyouth.org).

7. There will be three (3) prizes.  The Grand Raffle prize is $5,000 cash, the first prize is $2,500 cash and the second prize is $1,000 cash. The winners of the prizes will be determined by random drawings of raffle tickets. The drawings will take place between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on April 10, 2010, at The Bridge’s Are You All In? Gala at The Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The winner(s) need not be present to win. The winner(s) will be notified as provided in Rule 6.

8. Each raffle ticket purchased and accepted as described above shall constitute an "entry" into the raffle, and the person to whom the raffle ticket is registered shall be the "entrant." In the event that more than one name is stated on the ticket registration form, the ticket shall be registered to the first name listed, who shall constitute the sole "entrant" for that ticket. The Bridge accepts no responsibility for disbursing prizes to any other person listed on the ticket.  Payment to or delivery of any prize will be made only to the "entrant." The entrant must supply his/her social security number if he/she is a winner. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to allocate a winning prize to other participants in case of a multiple entry registration, and the winning entrant shall hold The Bridge harmless in case of conflicting claims or disputes among multiple claimants.

9. The decision of The Bridge will be final and in its sole discretion in all matters pertaining to this raffle.

10. Winner(s) must contact Laurie DeSimone at The Bridge Youth & Family Services within 14 days of the drawings, which will take place on April 10, 2010 to claim the grand prize, first prize and/or second prize.
