Counseling

The Bridge provides comprehensive counseling and therapy services, specializing in the many emotional or behavioral problems facing children and families.  

Professional Education

Professional Education courses are offered to all network panel members, many award CEUs for social workers and counselors licensed by the State of Illinois.  All participants receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Parent Education

For parents, we offer classes and groups that provides them with the tools necessary to navigate through troubling waters.  The decision on which groups are offered is based on community need and interest.

Crisis Intervention


The Crisis Team provides 24-hour crisis intervention to runaway youth, youth who have been thrown out of their homes or are otherwise homeless, or youth who are beyond the control of their parents and pose a risk to themselves or others.

The goal of The Bridge Crisis Team is to preserve or reunify families whenever possible.

The Crisis Intervention team serves six townships in Northwest Suburban Cook County (Palatine, Schaumburg, Barrington , Elk Grove , Maine , and Hanover townships).  Service Area and Scope includes a detailed list of our coverage area.

Following a crisis situation, the team will provide follow-up counseling, either directly or by referral.
