The Bridge Youth & Family Services
Mission: To help young people and their families achieve social and emotional health.
The Bridge Youth Advocacy Program is a mentoring program for children between 7 and 15 years old. Mentoring is a proven method of promoting social skill development and healthy decision making by teaching through example. Mentors help at-risk youth develop a more positive outlook on their futures, improve academically, and get along better with their peers and family members.
The Bridge wants you to take part in making the future brighter for the children we serve. You can do this by becoming a mentor. Here’s what we ask of volunteers who are interested in doing a world of good for a child by providing a safe, nurturing, and trusting relationship.

The Bridge’s training and screening process prepares mentors for a rewarding experience. We host several group trainings throughout the year for new mentors to get everyone off to a confident start. No one needs to worry about facing any challenges alone because Bridge staff provide ongoing support whenever it’s needed.
