The Bridge Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is looking for creative, motivated high school students who want to make a difference in their community. The YAB is a group of 12 youth leaders from diverse backgrounds who bring real youth perspectives to The Bridge Youth & Family Services. Together, we work to make sure that mental health programs, outreach, and advocacy truly reflect the needs and experiences of young people.

What You’ll Do

  • Use your voice to shape programs that support youth mental health.
  • Plan community projects and awareness campaigns.
  • Represent youth at events and community gatherings.
  • Lead change through teamwork, creativity, and action.

Board Goals

  • Create a Speaker’s Bureau for youth mental health advocacy.
  • Build partnerships with local high schools.
  • Promote Mental Health Awareness Month.
  • Support community fundraisers and events.
  • Design and complete a youth-led civic project by May 2026.
